    I'm still around

    Hi all,
I just wanted to drop in and let you all know I am still here. I know I haven't posted much, but I've had a few personal issues come up recently. But I am doing ok, and so is Mike.
Our rescue is also going well. I'm just trying to keep up with the phone calls and emails (never easy when you're a bit under the weather).
The most recent guys into rescue (the baby ball, and the baby BCC) are doing well. I am almost ready to release a native painted turtle after rehabbing. I have a list of possible drop offs but no room, at the moment (I'll never bite off more then I can chew). There is a possible of two newbie’s coming in. I'm just waiting for the call backs.
One is a BP abandoned on an apartment property (eviction / abandoned type of scenario) the "caregiver" says he has an injured tail. I am unsure of the extent. But our vet is on call and we have the available resources for him / her.
The other is a possible Savannah monitor drop off. Owner unable to care for, due to cage size and temperament. Again just waiting for the call backs.
I'll do my best to go through the threads; I just haven't posted in a while.
I also was able to fish out my old cam. I'm hoping to maybe poop up some new pics.
    I hope everyone is well
    Sincerely,
    Rusty
