How about we start educating these people and referring them here rather than smearing them into the pavement over their care or lack of it. We weren't all born knowing it all. How would you feel if it was, say, you or your kid who was being torn apart on another forum and you stumbled across it? I bet it wouldn't be a nice feeling.

I'm all for the re-writing of the rules to include no posting of the CL ads. The childish behavior it prompts from some sheds an ugly light on the love the rest of us have for the hobby and the animals.
I agree with you on all counts. I apologize for harassing Mike publicly (I used the pink emoticon called Razz to express this). I may have over-extended our friendship (he is the only one I've personally met from this forum). I should have sent it to him in PM. It wasn't intended to address any of the staff. I was playing a silly joke on him. I felt bad for him, since these CL Ads are popping up without much challenge while his got a big load of crap from the word Go. So, I thought I'd make light of it. But, like all other things, it is open to mis-interpretation and I should have realized that. And for that, I apologize.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
