Hmmm, it might be a good idea to get some newer pics showing the cord clearly and send them to Tim ( muddoc ) for some of his advice - he always seems to have great advice in these situations.

Have you been keeping it on wet paper towels? That helps them shed.
My hatchling shed 7 days after hatching. Umbilical fell off probably 2 to 3 days after hatching.

yes. the baby is on wet paper towels that i spray every other day. i kept it in the bator until last night. i put it in a tub in the rack. it holds humidity really well.
