dilemma
Ok these 2 are for sale for 200. The male is a pastel, the female is a proven breeder who produced a clutch of 6 eggs this year. The lady says the female is a normal but she looks kind of way different than most normals Ive seen. Should I buy these snakes folks? My wife has cleared me for purchase, I just need to know if I should spend 200 on these guys.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Re: dilemma
They both have nice blushing. The female looks really light colored, but I guess it is possible the picture was taken when she was "glowing". She is also pretty reduced. The male doesn't have as much yellow as I like to see in pastels, but then again, on a top down pic, you wouldn't see as much as a side view. He also doesn't have much fading on his head, for a pastel, especially considering how blushed the rest of him is. He is more reduced than most pastels I've seen. Together they might make some nice reduced pastels. My personal preference in pastels is for more pattern, but that is just personal preference.
I would for sure want to see them in person, or better pics of the male, to be 100% certain he is pastel, but my first guess is that he is, just not the best one around. If you can establish that, $200 is certainly not a bad price for a proven breeder female and a male pastel. Do you trust the person selling them, and would you be happy with your purchase?

Re: dilemma
I do trust her because I was trying to get her to come down in price just to see if she knew what she had, and she is fairly educated about BPs and morphs. She actually had a collection of Mojaves and Spiders but these are the last two left. I would be absolutely satisfied because I just love BPsand am starting my collection, and even if it is a reduced Id still love its unique look.

Re: dilemma
Not a bad price for the pair i'd say. The male is browned out, but may throw nice babies...who knows? If you like em, and you trust the seller and you have the loot then go for it.

Re: dilemma
For 200 I'd get them. Thats a really nice looking light colored female. So breeding with that pastel would probably turn out most delightful.

Re: dilemma
I LOVE the female, but I don't know that I'd add that particular pastel to my collection. How old is he?
