Re: Dad did say no more SNAKES

Mine sleeps all day, he is soooo lazy but he will get all riled up and just conquer his cage then take a nap again. They are fun to have and watch.

I have screen tops for the 20 gallon but will have to get one for the 55. anything you think we should add to the shopping list?
Id bump him to a 20 gallon, when they need 110 degrees of heat a ten gallon can just be to small for that. What kind of uvb bulb did you get? Also if your house doesn't get below 75 degrees at night I wouldn't worry about a night bulb. Is the half log made of wood? I know they have plastic half wood logs but the wooden ones are impossible to clean when they poop on them. He is a nice little guy though! Though they shouldn't be selling them so young I love it when they are that small

it does get into the low 70s at night. The uv bulb is one of those that provides heat and uv. Ill have to ask my Mom what brand it is. Bumping up to a 20 tonight. I will post pics of the set up.
He is eating really well. I love watching him bob his little head then rush at the crickets.

Im a little concerned about the bulb, as it sounds like it could be a compact bulb if she got it from a petstore because most do not sell MVB bulbs.

Make sure the crickets are the right size as well, they should be no longer than the width between eye ball to eye ball on your beardie, and they will eat around 30-50 a day.
