If I went to a show with the intention, or even the remotest possibility I might buy a new snake, you'd better believe I'd have it's living area set up well in advance before I went to the show. Shows are stressful enough on these animals. To not even have a habitat set up for it when you get it home is just down right irresponsible and will only induce more stress on your new pet.
I bought a Pastel from a fellow member here on the boards this week, but I am having him hold off on shipping until next week so I can make sure the snake's living quarters is perfect for him. It's called being a responsible snake owner.
Mistakes and accidents do happen, but for tbis type of accident to be repeated by the same person, it only further reinforces the proof that he should not own snakes, PERIOD.
