Good Reptile Store in California
Hey, I'm new here so I hope this is in the right place.
I'm interested in getting into the hobby of herps. I'm looking into getting a corn snake to start me off. I've been researching them for about a week and from what I've heard they are great snakes. My only problem is the only reptile store I've been too is Prehistoric Pets which is god awful, very dirty. So I was wondering if any of you know of some good reptile stores in southern california or a few good breeders that would ship.
-Thanks

I am in Southern California, as is West Coast Jungle and a few others.
A good reptile shop I go to occasionally is Amazon Reptile Center in Montclair. They are good people.
They should have plenty of corns.

Prehistorc Pets is bad, but is nowhere near the disgustingness of Radical Reptiles. DO NOT GO THERE.
If you can wait, there is a show coming up at the end of June in San Diego. If not, ordering from any vendor here should be fine. Or, you can check out Fauna Classifieds.

I live in southern california and some very neat places are PETCO and PetSmart...these stores offer a variety of reptiles including corn snakes...they will give you a receipt for you to turn it back in if it doesnt eat or has a health problem...but so far they are very healthy animals...i bought my ball python in Petco...and its pretty healthy and never skips a meal....so consider it...

I'll check it out, thanks so much.
I wouldn't feel comfortable purchasing a snake from petco.
