Re: Possible??
wow.
I mean, I've heard of ridiculously huge clutches from true giants of giants.. But I sort of thought that 50-60 was where they topped out.
I'm not going to call it impossible, I have heard of crazier things being true.

Re: Possible??
the bigger they are the more eggs they can lay. Ive heard of a few clutches in the 70s

Re: Possible??
I know of one clutch that was 88 eggs. It was a BUNCH of babies. Only 66 hatched but that's still a double handful.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Re: Possible??
i have seen in person a clutch of 102. the mother was 20' +/-. i've been out of contact with the owner/breeder for 7 years, so i couldn't tell you if it was consistent....
that was this particular animal's first breeding attempt

Re: Possible??
Yes it is possible. Problem is you don't see many snakes large enough to do it. Most people are breeding their female snakes at the bare minimum weight/age/length. If they would just wait a little longer, their snake would be much bigger instead of them worrying about it getting back to breeding size because it just laid a clutch.

Re: Possible??
Our largest was last year-she was 9 years old at the time and she laid 69 good eggs and 1 slug-all 69 eggs hatched. Here she is with her eggs-
