Shedding??
I've read the care sheets and pins about shedding but I'm confused.
The 25th his eyes were blue, his belly was pink, but he wasn't dull
the 26th his eyes were lighter, belly still pink, his belly and half the sides were dull
The 27th eyes almost cleared, belly no longer pink, skin no longer dull
The 28th (today) eyes cleared, belly cleared, skin not dull
No shedding skin in his substrate or hides, sooooooooo is he shedding or sick?
His set-up
We upped his humidity on the 25th from 50% to 70% and it's staying steady between 68'ish to 72'ish (the humidity outside is around 70% so it's stabilized there by itself) He's acting normal, in his hides most of the time during the day, he does come out to bask, switches sides a few times a day. Right now, he's curled up on top of his coconut basking (again, normal for him) Therm gun, temp on warm side is 88 temp on cold side 82. Just cleaned his substrate on the 24th when we tried to feed, which he didn't eat.
Asking if he's sick because I've read that perasites can cause his eyes to go opaque as well. Plus, it's been the 2 days and still no skin.

Nope, he should be shedding in the next few days.
http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28794 read that thread. It explains them going blue and then clearing up. They will almost look like they've already shed, but just give him a few days and he'll shed.

Re: Shedding??
Thanks! We haven't went through a shed cycle with him yet, and we've had him close to 2 months. I'm glad to find a place like this so that I know I'm properly taking care of him.

Re: Shedding??
After he sheds, is it ok for my son to take the skin to school? He wants to take it for his show and tell day. I know he doesn't have any mites, so is the old skin ok to take? (Provided the kids don't tear it to shreds)

Of course, but sometimes they defecate in the shed skin. I would disinfect it with nolvasan or bleach.

Re: Shedding??
Not right away. You have to let it dry out first.
Cut it down the centre of the belly scales and leave it out flat for a week or two.
