    future incubator I just picked up on CL....

    I think I got a smokn deal on this freezer....FREE....I am going to try and set up and make an incubator out of it for my two gravid females....anyone know where I can purchase the good thermostat. I am not going to take any chances and go the cheap rout.....

    we used the zoo med cheapy thermostat,and durign a 2 week test,out gradieant at low was 88.1,and high was 90.2,but you can order a heliz,i believe at like helix.com,or just google it,we converted a fridge over

    I am using a jhonson control therostat in my walk in incubator and it is working fine. You can find some on kingsnake classifieds. Make sure you get something with a 1 or 2 degree range. Some stats have a much larger range.
    You can also find heat tape on kingsnake if that is what you are going to use as a heat source.

    wow that is almost like mine. pretty close to the same size. It should work out good for you.

    0.3 Normal, 1.1 100% Het Albino, 1.1 Yellowbelly, 1.1 Mojave
    1.0 50% Het Axanthic, 1.1 Hypo, 1.0 66% Het Clown, 0.1 Black Pastel
