15 years old?

I was recently scanning Craigslist ads as I normally do looking for females. Someone has a 15 year old female that they have had since it was a baby and now all of a sudden they can't keep it anymore Anyways, I was just wondering if it was possible to breed a 15 year old snake that has never been bred before. I know they have live for many years but for some reason I just think of 15 as being ancient lol. Thanks!

It could produce, but do you really want to put that stress on her ? She is getting older and that snake have never been under cooling or breeding and so on.

Also, make sure to probe her to see if it's a female if you ever buy her. They probably bought it in a pet shop and were told it was a female with no real proof of it. It's a 50% bargain Look for infections too !

Considering that these snakes live to be 35+ years old and are one of the longest lived snakes in the world, I'm pretty sure they can breed well into their 20s at least.

From what I understand, most fish, reptiles, and amphibs can breed their entire lives.

i believe it was 48?

id say go for it, she should have a tonne of "meat" on her, i would bet my bottom dollar she will be 4kg+ if they have fed her correctly through her life.
i know of a 20yr old+ female that has been bred on and off for the past 12 years or so and she is in PERFECT health

i was at a friends facility and seen one imported in 78 just as shefinished her last breeding cycle,has produced over year for 20 years
