I heard back from 2 of the news stations in my area today. They aren't going to cover the issue because this problem in Florida doesn't concern pet owners in New York. How stupid can people be? I tried explaining that if this legislation passes then it WILL affect pet owners not only in New York, but across the country. They weren't impressed with my argument. Oh well...just goes to prove, "you can't fix stupid!"

How ignorant. It's very obvious many people don't see the full magnitude of this. When I contacted the news here nobody seemed interested as well. The FOX guys acted like they were but never followed up with me. The CBS affiliate was contacted by someone else and they jumped all over and I got my 15 min anyway and hopefully got at least a few more minds thinking about this issue.
