Should I feed him now?

So I brought home some live feeders for my corn, we picked up a few extra so wouldn't we have to go back next week. I think Oby caught a wiff of them because he is out of his hide and is looking around his cage. I don't know if I am reading into it or not, but he is acting the same way Zipper does around feeding time. He is raising up to the the screen and rooting around. I have only had him since Thursday. Should I still wait a complete week or try to feed him?

I know a lot of people do wait the whole week to feed. I, however have fed less than a week after I got mine. Because I live 30 miles from where I get feeders, I like to feed everyone on the same day. I didn't want to have to make a seperate trip. Was your snake fed by the store, or breeder that you got it from, recently? If it was, I would wait the whole week, or maybe even the next scheduled feeding day.

He was fed last saturday, which is why he didn't ship him the monday as planned. so it has been 8 days since he last fed. I don't mind keeping the mice it was my intention in the first place. But he seemed interested so I thought maybe I would try. I was planning on waiting till next saturday.

i got mine on tuesday and fed him on friday, he ate fine

My Mom and I talked about it and decided to go ahead and try. HE ATE!

I mean as long as its been atleast 3-4 days I would so go ahead. Which you said he ate anyways, so thats fine. I just try not to really handle atleast a week due to stressing.

I would feed him now. Waiting a week is just a guideline for in general. If you can read your snake and he's hungry I would feed him. If he seems to get hungry too frequently, I would feed him bigger prey.
