not 100% sure, thats why im asking
i guess my question is, do males have those white horns? mayb im not popping correctly, but my snake does have those white horns.
by chance anyone got a good picture of a popped male?

In my opinion it looks like you are doing the attempt at popping incorrectly.Please find someone that does know how to do it properly before you hurt your snake .If someone does show you a pic it would not make a differance on determining yours sex if you are unable to check yours correctly.Not trying to be rude here just trying to make sure you dont hurt your snake

how do you do it right when there is no one to teach you?

Best option is to find someone to teach you. No matter where you live there is someone near you that is in the hobby if you network a little you will find them. Option two, is to watch many, many videos. I just saw several on another thread and i know Ralph Davis has a few videos on how to pop. Thirdly, and most important imho, is practice on a cheap normal. Nothing against normals but why even take a risk on damaging a thouasand dollar snake. Todd

and on a side note. That snake is very large to try to learn how to pop on. It is very difficult to pop an adult snake and really takes someone with a lot of experience. Your best bet would be to get her probbed by someone that knows how to do it. Todd
