It's the best treatment for mites (the small black bug you found). And I'm sure 99% of the people here recommend it Oh, and good luck at the vet. You're deffinately not a bad owner because you are taking her to the vet (some people would just try and get rid of them). Stuff happens. As long as it gets treated early enough she should recover.
