    have any idea?

My ball python has had a weird eye problem ever since i got it. Her eye scales look cracked kinda like broken glass or something. I've had her since 2000 so it's not a recent devolopment or anything. When i first got her she wouldn't eat either, took 6 months to get it to eat. So that leads me to believe she's WC. Heck she's still a picky feeder lol. She always sheds fine so it's not a retained eye cap. Any help would be appreciated.

    Humidity is off...

Raise it, give her more water

    Should go away.

X2. How are you measuring humidity, and what does it read at now?

I use one of those round zoo-med ones. And it stays around 60ish percent. Do you think soaking her everyday for a while will help? Anyways here are some links to the pics of her eyes. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r.../glasseye2.jpg & http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r...5/glasseye.jpg

    Those are notoriously inaccurate.

But put more water in the bowl, or another water bowl all together, and raise the humidity.

Don't soak her every day. That can be much worse than leaving her alone.. If you want, you can spritz her lightly with water occasionally.

    Just be patient.

You can go to wal-mart and pick up digital hygrometers, many are thermometer/hygrometer combos which are also great for measuring temps while you're at it.

Should be around $10 or $15.

    Re: have any idea?

I agree you need an acurate humidty gage.

Don't soak her, esspecially if she sheds fine. Often that will make it worse since tap water contains drying agents like chlorine and could mess up her next shed.

    Just raise the humidity.
Add an extra water bowl on top of the heat pad to evaporate.
And/or cover part of the lid with tin foil.
