I am still trying to work on upping my humidity. I closed the top in partially with aluminum foil, and added a black back ground on three sides. I dont have the hides I have going to use in there yet. I am still working on something I like the looks of. But I stuck a temporary hide over the UTH just to check temps. I made a rheostat out of a dimmer switch and extension cord, so far its working great. My ambient temp is running 81-83 and the warm hide is 90-92.






I am going to get two identical hides in the morning when I can get a ride to the store. I think I will just go with cut out flower pots or something else I can invert.
Oh is a metal bowl ok? Should I get a ceramic?
