I'm proud of you for coming on here and asking for help while admitting your mistake! A real life friend of mine refuses to take a cardboard box with duct tape on it out of her corn snake cage. Has two corns in a cage too.. sigh. She says she's taught me 'everything' I know about snakes too..

I didn't think about it, but olive oil sounds like a good plan. Good luck and I'm sure he'll be fine.
