    Re: HR669 - Another Idea

I've started posting on Craigs List about it because a ton of people browse there. Just putting in info from nohr669.com except CL dosent like it when I try to post to multiple cities with similar adds.

I'm following example by sending e-mails and hard copy letters to the congrespeople, and putting fliers in my car windows (will be doing that tomorrow when i go out) and posting fliers on my campus to spread awareness. I may also stop by my two local reptile shops and let them know and even by petco/smart

I contacted all the television stations in my viewing area and ALL have replied and are MORE than willing to expose this story and give the Herp owners in this area exposure to state their side. That is 5 television stations people! On top of that, Senator Schumer replied this evening and I will be in verbal contact with him this coming week and hopefully will be able to meet face-to-face with him as well.
We CAN make this bill go away if we ALL put some effort into this project. What it comes down to is, "How much do your pets mean to you?" They mean the world to me and I'll be damned if I'm going to let some panty-waist dictate what I can and can't keep for pets!

    Re: HR669 - Another Idea

I just did this myself. I am horrible at writing letters like this, but I did what I could. I sent it to 2 local stations on this side of the state, and 1 on the other side. I hope someone picks it up and runs with it.
