    Johnson Controls Themostat

So, i just got my thermo in the mail and need a little help. I wanna hook up 4 zoomed heating pads to it, would i just plug them in, set my temp on the stat and put the prob in one of my tanks? Will it regulate all 4? Its not a rush rush thing as i have them on cheap regulators now but i wanted to get them onto something i could trust more and free up some outlets.

You could plug them into a multi-outlet power strip, then plug the power strip into the thermostat.

Yes, you can run 4 Zoo Med pads on the one thermostat. If the pad sizes and enclosures are identical your temps should be identical. Make sure to check the temperatures of each one. Don't assume that they will be the same.

They will not be at the same temperature if all other factors are equal. The larger one will run hotter if the probe is one of the smaller pad. You might set a piece of tile or something above the larger one to absorb some of the heat.

Make sure the thermostat probe goes on the OUTSIDE of any enclosure. If it is inside the snake could move the probe and your temps will spike.

Or you could use one of your existing regulators to control the variance in the larger tank to match the smaller ones
