THANK YOU ADAM. This is what I was looking for!!

Got my letters all nice and ready to go. The bright "NO HR 669" written on them so that even if they're not opened the message is still gotten is a wonderful idea.

I also hung some fliers tonight and taped two in each of our cars (in a non obstructive place, of course) so that no matter where we are, people will see them. Tomorrow we're headed to vet's offices and rescues/shelters to hang fliers there as well.

I would be careful at your local shelter and rescue groups. Because HSUS is backing HR 669 a lot of the shelters are as well.

Worst they can do is not let me hang a flyer in their establishment. Even with HSUS, which is basically a money-pit front with no actual shelter and little care for the animals, you'd be surprised at how far just being friendly can get you. I'm not going to let paranoia stop me from getting the word out to as many places as possible.

As far as safety, several years as a police officer and almost 10 years alone on america's highways in an 18-wheeler give me the ability to take care of mahself.

I used to work for an animal shelter that stood behind HSUS 100%
I know how passionate people can get. But you know this as well.
By no means am I trying to stop you from spreading the word!!!
