Excellent discussions are only fun if the two viewpoints are the extreme opposites. So by saying they threw their rights away you mean that they broke the social contract and therefore should not be members of a society anymore? But then why would you release them back into society? Also if you see that there is no chance of reform why bother with prison sentences? Why not kill anyone who harms the society through stealing, killing etc...?Originally Posted by jrosen123

I will have to pass on your discussion, My family is a strong believer that people in prison, who have broken the law, threw away their rights when they broke the law, and don't get me started on capitol punishment
