Boa alone is worth what you are paying but the ball she is without a doubt a norm and you can pick them up really cheap. I have 1000 gram + females I sell for $50......still a great deal regardless, make sure he knows that the ball is a norm maybe you can get the package for $125....lol...Who knows...

Looking at what he said in the ad, 55 and a 20 feeder tank? Were the boa and python housed together?

Overall its a great deal. Red tails sell for 150 alone on average.

It's apparent the boa and python we're housed together, which means a vet visit for the both of them.. fecal swabs and check-ups are a good idea.

STRICT quarantine, for a good 3 months at least.

Definitely not a pastel either, a nice normal though.

SOOOOO, heres the story. I went to their house, and this is what i learned. They RTB was in a separte cage the built, so they wern't housed together. The BP was kept in the 55gallon and the 20 gallon (which is ALOT bigger than 20) was used as his feeding tank. The BP is a pastel, just a horrible example, he does have some nice golds/yellows on his side and he has the green eyes of a pastel, he just really, doesnt look to to much like one. They ended up not wanting to part with the RTB so i have recieved (pics to come in the pic section of everything i recived, had a rough night last night and need to rescue my car from the side of a road, so pics once thats all done with) The pastel BP, his 55 gallon tank, all his husbandry (which was pretty good, just a HUGE tank), his 20 gallon feeding tank, and a crap ton of usefull things for $75. I'll take a pic of everything once i sort out my car and its not 6am. He can go in QT and my other pastel can come out =)

There are some "low end" pastels out there, so you did pretty well.
Sorry to hear about your car though.. what happened?
Also why advertise the two snakes then only sell one.. when they were a package deal?
Glad you are okay and that you are happy with what you got.. good deal.

    Re: Good Deal, yes?

well, i was driving back and i went to pass someone and my car started screaching and then it sounded like something fell off...then everyone sounded fine. So i kept going, after checking my gages. Thne, bout 20min later, i looked back behind me to switched lanes and saw a crap ton of smoke comeing from my car, my temp was tthrough the roof!! so i pulled off onto the side of the highway and had to have someone come rescue me. I thought iit was a radiator hose but went to replace it today and there was nothing wrong with it, might be the water pump...it had to be towed. And i had to leave the 55 gallon in it. it wouldnt fit in my friends car lol.

thw wife was to attached to the boa and decided she didnt wanna sell it. It was fine with me, i dont really do boas all to much and i got a good deal anyways so meh.

watch those rad hoses they can appear fine until they are under pressure, then you will see a stress crack in the hose.
