Sales thread being closed

I posted a sale thread just yesterday and it got closed already.. I did not ask for it to be closed. And I checked out some other recent ones, and they were closed up too!! What is the point of closing up people's sales threads? Why do they have to be closed?

Am I missing some knowledge about this forum?

Maybe it was to keep people from trying to reply in the thread. Conversation regarding a sale is supposed to take place via PM.

Oh were we supposed to read the rules of the site to be on the site lol. Just take all the fun out of screwing up and read the rules then you won't be upset when something happens you weren't expecting( because you would have read it in the RULES).
