    There is some excellant post up in the care/husbandry section I believe about this. The shed process goes thru stages and usually have a corresponding time range with each of them.

    In general....Pink belly leading to your poor color and cloudy eyes.
    After a period of time they will clear up and look relatively normal
    Usually 48-72 hours after this clearing stage they will shed

    It is important that once they clear up you make sure humidity levels are up....general rec is 70% during this time frame.....again this is a quick synopses of the process...the caresheet gives you specific time durations and actual pictures of the process

    PS: The only time the soaking process should occur is if the shed is bad and there is remaining pieces that are not easily removable. Again there is a post and pic process of how to soak you bp after a bad shed
