    Pine Bedding?

I wanted to use pine bedding for my pythons instead of newspapers or plain paper. would that interfere with anything, like feeding time?

    Re: Pine Bedding?

I am by far not an expert but I do know that it is not good to use pine bedding for your snake. The oils in the pine can be toxic to your snake. I'm sure you will get some good advice as to what kind of substrate is safe to use. Please, if I am wrong about this, someone please correct me.

    Re: Pine Bedding?

No pine...no cedar. A good alternative to pine would be aspen.

    Re: Pine Bedding?

I second using aspen. Pine and cedar are both toxic to ball pythons.
