Hey there all. As some of you may remember (or not) my girlfriend and I tried our hand at breeding for the first time this year. (how long until this winds up in the out of context forum?). Anyway, I have been following the breeding calender and advice from the 8ball website the entire season, except I am still not fully warmed up. I have witnessed a greaaaaat deal of copulations, but my female has yet to ovulate. I have even found a sperm plug that had gotten transfered over to her and was hanging I posted a picture a while back with the female wrapping around the male out.
I had posted pics of her wrapping around the male instead of a water bowl a looong time ago. I could have sworn that she was developing follicles, I could feel 6-8 bumps in her, but that seemed to disappear slowly. Most noticeably after moving (I know, I know, I could NOT avoid it.) which was around two months ago. The female was off feed since a week before the move, and has now taken smaller than usual prey twice in the past week. I still find them locking and she soaks her abdomen a large majority of the time she is out of her hide.
Is this mildly abnormal, but still okay? Or is it more along the lines of one of them being infertile? Oooooh God, I hope not!
We're both worried, guys. Please help sort this out!!
