Need some opinions and help please.
Hi all, I am thinking about getting a stack of plastic enclosures and have found Boaphiles, Animal Plastics and Repti Racks. I have found alot of info on the Boaphiles, but not much info on the other two. BTW, the Repti Racks are 1/2 the cost of the others. But has anybody used these and if so what are your thoughts and recommendations? Also, would black be a more sensible color than white?
This is the setup I am looking for but these enclosures are larger than the ones I am gunna get.

The picture below is the enclosure size I want, but in black instead of white.

(24"W x 18"D x 12"H) 4 of these and a matching base is $549 shipped

Reason: hotlinking I'm afraid but a link to them is fine ;-)

The Repti-Racks and AP are almost twins. I have both and it's a toss-up. Are they the best - no? Will they do the job - yes. I've had excellent customer service from both.
I have several Boaphile products and have not found them to be worth the extra cost or long wait times . I'm not saying Jeff makes a bad product, I just haven't found a justification for the additional premium.
Reptile Basics makes a good cage and I've had good experiences with Jim Scharphorn at PVC cages. Both Rich at RBI and Jim have very quick turnaround times.

My little bit of research led me to believe exactly what you are saying. What is it that makes them "not the best" is it poor hardware or materials or is it something else?
I am looking for something to house my growing collection in that will be practical and can be displayed. + I would like it to look nice for me and I think these set-ups look very nice at a very reasonable price also.

I have some cages that a friend of mine made from hollow core PVC (he makes plantation shutters). For about $50.00 more per cage (on a 48"x24"x15") cage, they beat anything from the manufacturers we've listed - hands down.
The Boaphiles sag, as do the AP and to a lesser extent - the Repti-Racks. They are basic boxes with sliding glass doors with loose tolerances.

What a sweet deal I got, Repti Racks was having an overstock clearance sale on a black textured an a white cage. Both were 24x18x12 and I got them brand new for $59 ea! Pending UPS delivery time, I am supposed to have them in about a week
What would be the best method to heat them, I did a search and didn't turn up as much info as I thought I would. Should I run Flexwatt across the back or put it on one side? I was thinking I would run 2 4" strips across the back on the bottom.
