Thanks! Even though it's only two fertile eggs, I'm really happy that this girl finally produced eggs for me!

Thanks, Mike! Yes, she has been quite the picky feeder for me in the past! When I purchased her, she weighed about 1185g. From the summer of '06 to the summer of '08 she gained between 150g-160g, and that was only because I didn't try to breed her last year, so she continued to feed longer. She finally got up to just under 1700g at the beginning of the season, so I bred her this year, and I sure am glad that I did!

Thanks for the luck, but stangely enough, I'm hoping for at least 1 "Normal" male so I can easily tell if it looks like mom. If it does, I can breed him back once he gets up to weight/age assuming that she gets back up to weight as well. I remember you helped me out a few years ago when I first had some "gravid" (or so I thought) females that happend to be pounding rats. You, Adam, and others were a huge help, and I am very grateful that you all pointed me in the right direction. Thank you very much Joe!

I'll make that decision this fall. If she gets back up to weight quickly and is doing well, I may breed her again next season. If she continues to be picky feeder and isn't gaining weight well, I'll skip a year or two like last year. We shall see.
