is this normal?
i just got my first trio of ASF's last night and since introducing them to their new home they havn't curled up together at all. they have all chosen different corners of the tank to make their own nests and thats where they have been sleeping most of the day. i've kept mice b4 but chose to go to ASF's because of the "stink factor" all the mice have always slept together, but it seems like the ASF's are trying to avoid each other. is this normal?
before you ask, they are 8-9 weeks old, i keep them in a 10 gallon tank, im feeding them mazuri lab blocks and some fresh veggies that were left over from salad at dinner. they are on aspen, and the temp in the room is 72.
let me know what you think, Thankx

Re: is this normal?
Assuming they are not litter mates, it is possible they are going thru an adjustment period. I have some that sleep in corners(a favorite thing for asf's) others that all three sleep in the hut. Give them time, if they are not fighting it's a good thing.

They'll avoid each other while sleeping until the first pregnancy hits.

Re: is this normal?
Mine just started to sleep together after the babies birth. They are an odd trio who like to sleep in the 2 wheels!
Too many pets to list!

I have a 1.5 group and they are all from different litters and they all sleep together and are always together. They also pile into the wheel to sleep too rather than the hide i give them.
Yes i know that its a big group now and im going to take them down to a 1.3 or 1.2
