Opal Ball Pythons
I recently read a classified with a pair of pastels het pied for sale. In the ad it said you could make opal pieds and pastel pieds. What are the genetics behind the opal? I saw a pic of tracey Barker's opal ball, but it didnt say much about the snake.

Opal is what Kevin called supers at first.. They haven't been called that for YEARS.

The term is still in use by some breeder. It's a super pastel, nothing else.
Well, a super pastel pied would be nice. Don't remember to have seen one yet.

Roussis Reptiles has hatched out both pastel pieds and super pastel pieds, but they have not posted photos of the super pastel pied yet. They had a picture of their pastel pied up for a while and it was fantastic. They have all of the photos removed now though unfortunately.
