whats the best lizard for this cage?
Ok, as the title states i have an old solid wood dresser im converting int oa cage this weekend. it will have 2 light bulb fixtures and a flourescent light fixture (24 inch). the actual spade dimensions are 25tallx16.5deepx40long. im interested in knowing what kind of lizard i could house in a viv that size. im trying to steer away from geckos and beardies. as i have already owned them, and bred them before. i know the width is a problem with this. but im still curious. also. i was wondering if an ackie would be able to be in this cage for about a year or more? im lookign for something that can live in this viv for atleast a year or more. thanks for the help everyone!!

If you are making it how I think you are you could keep an iguana in there for a good amount of time. If you turn it on its back or side you might be able to keep a tegu in it for a while. If you are gonna try to use it for some type of breeding project. Hack off the front of the drawers replace with lexan or plexiglass screen in the tops or replace the back with pegboard for ventilation If you can post a picture of the dresser and an Idea what direction you wanna go I can give you better suggestions

A baby water dragon would live in that for a year...
