My friggin BP has gone missing!!!!

So my bloody BP lily has gone missing,my fault from what i can see ,the sliding door was open approx 1" and she made a run for it,ive ripped my room apart and cant find her,ive put a gerbil in a box in a box with a hole in it so she can get in and hope fully catch her that way...anybody got any other suggestions??

There are tons of threads on this. Try to think like a snake. Get down on your belly and look for heat sources and small hiding places. Appliances with motors create heat. If you have a heat gun take readings around the enclosure and look where the warm spots are. Good luck.

One of my ball pythons escaped and I found her barely a foot away from her enclosure, she was curled up in a basket of CAT5 cable and such. In most cases they don't go too far, keep the exits to the room closed so your BP can't get out of the room. Look in shoes, between the bed, everywhere really.

ndon't feel bad I had a corn ( younger one ) get loose friday and I found her today ) I got a posti n the corn forum called why oh why me ) that all about it .. the only part theat was tripping my out wasthe fact she laid eggs and they bigger around than she is I still waiting for her topass the last 2 ( 3 hours later roughly ) I thinking egg bound the last 2 scaring herwhen I dremeled the humidifer apart. if she not passed them by 4 I am going to use an medical needle I have and collapse the last 2 eggs. and hope she passes the shells or reasorb the calicum from them. either way I preferherot live of a set of eggs that might not even hatch ..

Hey thanks for the help....ive done pretty much all that you've mentioned,were the viv is located its not really surrounded by many suitable hiding spots so i think she may have gone further afield ,i gess il have get doen on me tummy and be a snake for an hour or so tonight.

I jus hope to hell i find her!! will keep you updated!!!

PANIC OVER...I turned off all the lights in my room then i left her to it. and about an hour later my mum stumbled apon her creeping around perimiter of the room.....what a relif!!
