    Sily Python..

I have realized that my BP doesn't seem to like the hide I gave him. Or at least he prefers to sleep under the newspaper. I have move the hide to the warm and cool side of the tank, even put him facing it when putting him back but he always goes in the newspaper lol. Does anyone else have a BP that does this?

How many hides do you have in the enclosure? You should provide two identical hides, one on the hot side and one on the cool side, this way your snake doesn't come to prefer one side over the other for the hide alone.

I have one hide, I suppose I should get another, but he is under the newspaper like right in front of the hid :/

It could be that the hide isn't to his liking, is he able to touch the sides of the hide when hes in it?

What kind of hide is it? You should get some tight fitting "rock cave" type hides.

One of my Bps wouldn't go in hides either then i got smaller ones and he hardly comes out. You have to make sure they are good and tight. If you don't think they will fit, the snake with likely prove you wrong.

He might just like the paper, if hes eating fine and healthy you should be good. My one guy doesn't like to be in a hide and all and hides behind it in the tub, and my other guy prefers to lay on it.

I would string small LED under glow lights inside the hides to entice him into thinking he is entering a club. Maybe the hide is just too boring for him? Mine seems to enjoy the disco ball and strobe lights i installed for him.
