    Enchis vs Pastels

What's the difference between the Enchi pastel and any other common pastels like the Jungle, Lemon, Nerd, Grazi, ect? Anyone own both now or before that can help shed some light? I've never owned an Enchi, but from seeing them online, they aren't that much more or any impressive than the common Pastels. Do the average Enchis brighten up the morphs more than the average Pastels?
I've seen a few online. They look darker than brighter actually.. Can someone tell me why the Enghis cost more other than it is less common?

    Thanks.

Enchis are their own morph with a super form. They make cool combos (like deserts and lesser enchis).

You can check out their story at

They are an under rated morph to me with lots of combo potential.

    Re: Enchis vs Pastels

I have both an enchi male (just got him from Casey Lasik) and many pastels. Other than the obvious color differences (enchis look at lot like normals with a bit of orange speckling up the sides) the enchi usually brightens up a morph at birth and as it ages and pastels tend to brown out as they age.

There have been some killer combos made with enchis. I too love the enchi desert (called a tiger). I'm hoping my new little guy will get up to size by this next breeding season so I can try to make some of the neat combos myself.

Why is that when the Enchis look so dark and dirty as adults? Even the supers don't look clean. They all have that layer of dirt on them. Im thinking of getting one so that's why.

An enchi is not really a pastel, which is why most people have dropped the "pastel" part of the name.

Here's my enchi girl (she's also the "model" for my logo in my avatar):

    Here's an adult at NERD

    And here's my lemon pastel:
