    Pastel Breeding

What traits in a normal should be looked for to breed a pastel to? Should a darker girl be used or a light one, more or less blushing? What really brings the pastel traits out? Thanks in advance

I would use a light, high blushing normal girl.

    Re: Pastel Breeding

    Hi,

Wouldn't it depend what look you were going for in the offspring?

If you were using a graziani pastel and wanted to refine that lines appearance then light blushing girls are the dogs danglies.

But if you were working with lemon pastels would a high gold / deep black high contrast animal not be a better fit?

Since I am in total love with zebra pastels I would be trying to match lemon pastels with reduced/ banded girls to try and emulate that look.

Would I be wasting my time?
