    Re: bath

Mine get swim time once a week in the tub. Tepid water 2-3 inches deep, always supervised. Young ones will freak a little at first so limit their swim time.

how do you give BP's baths? I personally don't.
Do you make it deep? Don't as there is a chance of accidental drowning.
Do they swim? I think so but not for extended periods of time.
shallow? Yup about 2/3 of their body width
Do you rub them? To dry them yes aside that no.
Soap? I wouldn't due to irritation of eyes, mouth, scales, etc...

Hope this helps and only a unasked question is ignorant

    Re: bath

The only time I bathe my snakes is when they smell bad from slithering in their waste. I just fill a tupperware container with 2 inches of water and put them in. I leave it uncovered. I don't use soap.

My girls just chill there and will sometimes start drinking the water. I usually leave them in for about 10 minutes or until they get restless.

You don't really need to bathe snakes. I just do it to get the crap off them.
