    my pastel's progress

    pic in november

    pic today !!!!

he was hatched 6/4/08 and hes doing awesome, got him from hoppers, to rat pups, to adult mice, and eating on a 5 day schedule.... he really has an awesome personality too... just figured i would share what 5 months of growth does for a yearling... hes alot fatter too... BTW the remote is roughly 10" long, and hes NEVER missed a meal yet, for the breeder, and for me...

    thanks for looking...

Is it a super pastel? i have never seen one look that good. Dont normal pastels all get dark when older?

being that i paid $100 for him from a private breeder, i would assume not but he definitely has the traits ! hes pretty dark now as it is, i gotta get pix with my good camera (not my iphone) right after he has a fresh shed, he looks great... but both of his parents were pastels... the one thing i love is how light the top of his head is, just like a super pastel... the blushing too

this is him about 2 weeks after a shed, the top of his head looks kinda like glare off the glass but it really is just that light

    Re: my pastel's progress

I'm almost sure that hes from the graziani line, cuz with the pattern and color when hes fresh shed, he looks almost identical to this graziani
