I would just try to feed him as much as he'll eat in one sitting (especially if he's an inconsistent eater and you don't know when he'll decide to eat next), he'll stop when he wants... Just depends on how much he does eat as to when you should try to feed next. For instance, if you feed 3 fuzzies at one time and it leaves a good-sized lump in him he might not want to eat again for a week/week and half. Or one to two fuzzies at a time, maybe he will eat twice a week, etc. Just make sure he realigns his jaws in place after he's done with the first so he's ready to receive another one. And eventually if you find you are feeding him too many fuzzies in one sitting you might want to upgrade the prey size to a small/medium mouse or so. They each have their own preferences. Like for example some of my snakes will only eat 2 small rats (afraid of a larger size, I don't know) while another one the same size will take a medium rat. But if it's Jake the 19 incher he should probably be eating a decent sized mouse/rat pup or maybe weanling once a week. And I'm sure you know about power feeding, just feed him enough to where he has a good growth rate but not gaining excessive weight and length with a noticeably smaller head![]()
