imo, mist him alittle and give him a day or two by himself to see if he can get it off. If he doesnt then I usually set them up in a small rubbermaid tub with an inch of luke warm water, and then put a hand towel in there so he has a wet but pliable surface to help get the shed off.. give him 20-25 minutes in there, then if theres any left on him its usually very easy to just rub it off with your fingers or let him slide thru the soaked towel and your hand.
