    Unique Pastel Calico

    Shown is a very different looking Pastel Calico that hatched here last fall. He hatched in a clutch of five that produced three Pastel Calicos and two Calicos - all males. Although this Pastel Calico was the most extreme, all of them have extensive blushing with a definite black back look. If he'll cooperate, I plan to breed him back to Mom in 2010. Things like this keep it interesting!

    it looks like what I might imagine a pewter calico looking like. That is killer either way!! I don't think calicos are that great on their own, but the pastel really makes them into something special.
