Is it legal to put up a sign next to the store saying something of the lines of

"Don't buy from these guys!" ?

Probably. It would either be on their property or property owned by the city so likely you couldn't do it.

Alright I contacted the SPCA... they should check up on them within 48 hrs. I'll keep you guys updated.

Follow-up and make sure they did go. Please let us know how it all turned out.
