*Sigh* yet another killer bee thread...

    You are misunderstanding it then.
A killer bee *is* a super pastel spider, you do not get a killer bee from breeding a super pastel to a spider. It is very simple genetics.
Use a Punnett Square and if you do not know how to use one, there are lots of guides showing how to use them if you look them up. Google is very helpful.

Eggman, to get a killerbee, you need a pastel gene from the mother AND the father. Because, you need the baby to be a super pastel. You can't get a super pastel from a super pastel mother bred to a non-pastel father - that will only give you pastel babies - but, they will ALL be pastel... no normals.

Then you'll need the mother OR the father to have a spider gene as well for the baby to be a super pastel spider a.k.a. killerbee.

    1.0.0 yellowbelly bp
    0.0.1 normal bp
    1.0.0 normal western hognose

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

    Not quite right Eggman08

Super Pastel X Spider = Bumblebees and Pastels
Killerbee X Axanthic = Bumblebees Het Axanthic and Pastels Het Axanthic

To get to the Axanthic Killerbee starting with the bare bones base morphs the following would be the approach.

    1. Axanthic male bred to Pastel female and Spider female - Keep all Pastel and Spider offspring they are all 100% Hets

    2. Breed Spider Het Axanthic offspring to Pastel Het Axanthic offspring and keep your fingers crossed for the Axanthic Bumble bee

    3. Breed the Axanthic bumblebee to a Pastel Het Axanthic from the previous generation or if you were lucky and got a sibling Pastel Axanthic of the opposite sex you could increase your odds of hitting the 3 gene combo.

That's what I'd do to, but I'll add one thing. If you don't get the axanthic bumblebee in step 2, you are still doing good if you get an axanthic pastel and an axanthic spider of the opposite sex from each other. At least this eliminates working with non-visible hets. Cross them, everything will be axanthic, and you'll have 1 in 4% odds of getting the axanthic bumblebee. Much better than the odds in step 2 which are only 1 in 16.

LOL it all basically boils down to this

    you would need

Super Pastel Het axanthic X Bumble Bee het axanthic .

by using the super pastel instead of a plain ol pastel , i was told you improve the odds of producing a killer bee and by that increasing the odds for the KB to be axanthic . ..
I love it when people tell me, "You should think before you speak!" I'm like, "I did. It's what I think and I really don't give a crap what other people think."

Well, hey, if we are increasing the odds and can start with any snake we want... why not just go with killer bee axanthic x killer bee axanthic?

Actually, after a few sheets of paper brainstorming I think that example would only make normals....
