Small amounts are OK. Like if its 76 one day then 78 the next. You wouldn't want it to be 70 in the morning, 80 in the afternoon, then 70 again at night.

I have never ever used an incubator for corn eggs, and they all do just fine. I keep them in the closet as that's fairly insulated from the rest of the room and it holds pretty stable temps that never fluctuate more than a degree or two.

There's a slow and steady warming from about 72 when they first start to lay to about 78-80 when they hatch, but this is nice and slow and coincides with the outside temp going up. So its not a worry. If you have a closet or room that has a fairly steady temp in the 70-80 range, then don't even mess with an incubator.
