Re: Axanthic Super Pastel Spider (Killer Bee Axanthic)
Ahh! Didn't see that right away, ha ha. Thank you for telling me. 8]
This would be a huuuuge project.
I didn't think about Pastel het axanthic! That would probably be easier to get, too.
Thank again.

Glad to help!
You know you're into reptiles when...

It doesn't matter how you get there. You just need to end up with a snake that has the following traits - homozygous pastel, homozygous axanthic, and at least heterozygous spider.

Re: Axanthic Super Pastel Spider (Killer Bee Axanthic)
This is an example of where I think it's important to understand that the genotypes heterozygous and homozygous and how they apply beyond just recessive. Knowing that you need to make a homozygous pastel you can see that both parents must be at least heterozygous pastel. Likewise both parents must be at least heterozygous axanthic for the same reason. Knowing that you need to make a heterozygous spider you can see that only one parent is required to be at least heterozygous spider.
So the minimum parents that could make an axanthic killerbee would be bumble bee het axanthic x pastel het axanthic. Both of those parents could be produced from originally breeding a bumblebee to a homozygous axanthic. Still a daunting multi-generational project requiring some luck with the odds but I bet the results would be well worth it.

The way i understand it to get a killer bee breed a super pastel x spider then breed the killer bee back to an axanthic and u should have a chance of getting a killer bee axanthic

That wouldn't work I'm afraid.
Super pastel x spider gives you pastels and bumblebees - it cannot make a killerbee.
And a killerbee x axanthic would give you bumblebees and pastels all het for axanthic.

Re: Axanthic Super Pastel Spider (Killer Bee Axanthic)
Im not sure how to get the killer bee axanthic. But everything i have read says to get a killer bee breed a dominant spider x a dominant super pastel. And my friend uncle i a ball python breeder and that is how the got his killer bee. But to get a killer bee axanthic it might take a different approach to get it

Not quite right Eggman08
Super Pastel X Spider = Bumblebees and Pastels
Killerbee X Axanthic = Bumblebees Het Axanthic and Pastels Het Axanthic
To get to the Axanthic Killerbee starting with the bare bones base morphs the following would be the approach.
1. Axanthic male bred to Pastel female and Spider female - Keep all Pastel and Spider offspring they are all 100% Hets
2. Breed Spider Het Axanthic offspring to Pastel Het Axanthic offspring and keep your fingers crossed for the Axanthic Bumble bee
3. Breed the Axanthic bumblebee to a Pastel Het Axanthic from the previous generation or if you were lucky and got a sibling Pastel Axanthic of the opposite sex you could increase your odds of hitting the 3 gene combo.

That's what I'd do to, but I'll add one thing. If you don't get the axanthic bumblebee in step 2, you are still doing good if you get an axanthic pastel and an axanthic spider of the opposite sex from each other. At least this eliminates working with non-visible hets. Cross them, everything will be axanthic, and you'll have 1 in 4% odds of getting the axanthic bumblebee. Much better than the odds in step 2 which are only 1 in 16.
