    Wink woop woop;; he finally

    ate =]]

    So i have had my bp, Edward (yes i am obsessed with twilight lol), since February 20th. i bought him from a petco; and after lurking and reading around this website for the past month I've come to see that not many people consider that the best idea. but regardless of that, at petco i was told that he was on a friday/saturday feeding schedule with f/t fuzzys and that he was eating normally. Since the 20th was a saturday they suggested that i feed him saturday night. well it was attempted. an it failed. the next two weeks, same outcome. i was starting to worry a little. i bought a scale to weight him and and he was 118 grams. so i decided to make a change. maybe by him a live fuzzy. bought it and mission failed. he would not take to it. it almost seemed like he was scared of it. long story short last night wee decided to give it another try with a f/t fuzzy. we "zombie danced" it in front of the hide he wasnt responsive. so i figured hey lets just leave it in there on a dish in front of his hide and maybe he will take to it on his own. we left the room and suree enough about an hour later Edward was back in his hide and the mouse had disappeared. i figured since the fuzzy was small and Edward had been in a fast for a month now that it wouldnt hurt giving him another small one, since i had read that bps can at small/adult mice almost straight out of the egg. the same thing was done. we danced it around and had no response to we placed it in front of his hide. and a few hours later it was gone. and now i guess i'll sit here and patiently wait for him to digest and poop =]

    im soo proud of him. i guess i dont have to worry anymore.

    but i do have two questions..

    1. was it okay of me to feed him two small fuzzys?

    &

    2. since he has now started eating and he's still only 118g ;; should i stick more to the 5 day feeding schedule or the 7 ;; i mean i know its only two days but i was wondering lol

    If you give him two fuzzies and he eats them it is fine

    Stick to a 5day schedule until he is around 300grams. Any pics of Edward and his humble abode for us interested people?
