Is this just a standard... reduced pattern?

Hi everyone. I am new here to the forums and wanted to get an opinion on a female snake I stumbled upon on Craigslist. The owner is selling her as "just" a ball python, but she looks like she may be a reduced pattern or have some other markers? Could you please give me your thoughts?

(My fiance and I are sharing this account), and we have a standard female that looks nothing like this one.

I'm noticing the pattern on the sides - very clean, no "alien heads" or black spots. Also, the snakes eye appears to be split in color - with the color banding running on her face.

I've requested more pics and may make a trip to see her in person. I was told she is 5' long...We have a proven breeder Orange Ghost male that we would like to breed her to.

    Thanks! ~Alicia

Looks like a Reduced Pattern to me. Just keep in mind that Reduced Patterns are rarely genetic, they are generally considered "nice normals". She's a very pretty little girl though! I'm a huge sucker for Reduced Pattern Ball Pythons.

Thank you! I thought she looked a little different than just a normal ball. If she's a breedable weight, we may grab her. The seller is offering 3 tanks including a mouse set up, so she seems like a good deal. I think her eye looks cool, even if its not genetic.

Re: Is this just a standard... reduced pattern?

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I created my own account on here. I'm still adjusting to the differences between automotive forums and this one!

    Alicia

Btw, going to check her out tonight. The owner seems pretty nice, although I am concerned about the housing he is providing. He has been housing her in a large rectangular "mesh" style upright "cage." This doesn't seem like it would hold humidity well and I would be concerned about our 2 cats bugging her...we aren't doing racks yet (don't really have the need) and we are doing glass tanks. We would need to pick up a separate home for her.

The female is 3-4 yrs old.

Don't forget to put her in quarantine before attempting to breed them.

She does look a little thin, this could be due to dehydration or not having the appropriate amount of food. If you guys decide to get her, I'd take her into a vet. He can check her for parasites, confirm the sex, etc.

Be sure to let us know if you get her!

Re: Is this just a standard... reduced pattern?

After further discussion with the owner, it sounds like she may have developed some not-so-good habits that we didn't feel ready to deal with. Initially, the mesh upright cage concerned me, but he mentioned she had been bitten by a large mouse (oops...) so he was feeding her 3-4 very small mice at a time. Sounds bizarre. He also mentioned that she didn't "bite" but that he put something over her head every time he wanted to take her out and then grabbed her by the body. I have a feeling that was his way of saying she may bite otherwise...and he was hand feeding her inside her mesh bag.

Sorry for all of the anticipation! But, I thank you all for your assistance!
