    holy cow! I've never heard of snakes breaking out of their cages only to break into the feeder cages Is the rat cage open top or something??

    I have to say I'm impressed with your snake. And "maybe he was hungry?" is an understatement. He shouldn't be worse for wear for eating that much. Also, sometimes upping the size of prey for snakes can trigger an overall positive change in feeding aggression and overall hunger, don't really know why but it's something I've noticed in snakes I've taken care of.
