Currently I have my BP in a 20L viv setup. While it is pretty nice to look at, she is never out and I feel like it would be put to better use for a baby boa(and I want a boa lol). I do have room on a shelf to put a tub up there so that is where the BP is going. I snagged a 28 qt sterilite and I'm going to transfer her over to it in the next few weeks.
So questions I have are:
1- I am going to have it in sideways because of space constraints, will I need both hides in there since it probably won't get very dark during the day?
2- Is this enough space with the 2 RBI hides I have?
I can get a small water dish in there and she never really soaks in it at all so I feel that it would be fine.
3- I'm guessing this will be enough space for her for awhile yet, she is only 240g right now.
If I can just use 1 hide or no hides I will, however since this is going on the shelf sideways I don't think that would be an option. Those hides I have are big enough to hold her till she hits 1200g so she actually has a good amount of space in the tank even with the hides in there. Anything I should be planning differently?
Thanks, I know I'm still noob at this but I'd rather look dumb than have my animal in a bad setup.
edit: No I am not keeping her in there right now, she is still in the 20L till I clear off the shelf and have a chance to go to the store to get a uth, another tstat and another acurite. Oh, and a cheap soldering gun to punch vent holes in that tub...
