    BP made friends with Probe

    So i waled by my themostat that records the floor of my tank and saw that the tub jumped 10 degrees. So, thinking my uth might be spritzing i pulled out the tub to find my bp coiled around the prob of the themostat....lol, he has a new friend

    aww yeah, photos would be cool! My snake likes the thermostat/humidity gauge on the side of the tank. He likes to try and climb on it.

    Aww, sry, i didnt think to take pics, i was just so happy he was out of his hide! lol its been a while since i've seen him out of it. Finally destressing, maybe he will eat again for me soon.

    Just to say that is why we recomend having the thermostat probe outside the enclosure.

    Was going to say the same thing..

    Tape your thermostat probe to the heat source and monitor your enlocsure temps with a separate thermometer. If the probe gets moved and reads, say ambient temp, your thermostat will compensate and could burn your snake.
